Nathalie Craan and Dave Beckstead have been performing together for more than 30 years in a variety of formats including duo, trio and larger ensembles up to full big bands.  Their music encompasses classic jazz performed with modern twists and contemporary music with a jazz aesthetic.  They have performed in Canada, Europe, Africa, Asia and the Caribbean.  Highlights include a US State Department, “Jazz Ambassadors” tour of Madagascar, an 8-year house gig at Beijing’s CD Jazz Café, a performance at the Forbidden City Concert Hall as part of the Beijing, Nine Gates Jazz Festival and a 5-year association with Redbones Blues Café in Kingston, Jamaica.  Nathalie and Dave now call Kingston, Ontario home and have joined forces with Doug Rooks (double bass) and other local musicians.  Through these partnerships, they can provide professional, creative and accessible jazz performances for any occasion.
